Miss Teen West Yorkshire, Ellie, volunteered for MacMillan Cancer Support at the annual Leeds 10k run!
‘I volunteered for Macmillan to help marshal the annual Leeds 10K run!
Thousands and thousands of people came to the streets of Leeds to participate in the run. 270 of which ran for Macmillan and raised a total of £40,000. In addition to Macmillan, so many other charities (such as Mind and Dementia UK) were supported by the other runners, and they will all benefit from fantastic efforts of the runners.
It was an amazing experience to be able to help support the organisation of the race and allow it to go ahead!’
