The beautiful Ellie-Mia Zschiesche from Stoke-on-Trent, entered her first pageant this year – Little Miss Teen Great Britain, and she went on to win the crown! Get to know Ellie-Mia a little better by reading her interview here:
What made you want to enter the Miss Teen Great Britain competitions?
My sister entered a pageant and came in the top 15! I really liked the system!
What did your family and friends say when you told them you had entered?
My family were very supportive and my friends didn’t know what a pageant was but they do now!
What did you do to prepare for the final?
I raised £560 for charity and made different appearances, a raffle, donating food to a food bank, and my local fun run.
What was your favourite part of the grand final weekend? (besides winning the crown)
I was so excited to meet everyone and very excited for the pj party!
How did your friends and family react when you won?
They were so pleased but also very shocked as it was my first pageant.
Who is your role model?
Lauren Parkinson, because she’s a very inspiring young woman and Misha Grimes because she’s successful.
What would be your dream job?
I would like to be a Cabin Crew member with British Airways.
What is your favourite TV programme\film?
My favourite film is Home Alone, I can watch that film all year round.
Do you have any plans for your year as a Miss Teen Great Britain queen?
I’m looking forward to visiting the Together for Short Lives Hospice to attend their Christmas party, we are also taking gifts. Me and Eddison (Miss Junior Teen GB) are also going to organise our own event.
When you aren’t busy being a beauty queen, what do you do in your free time? Do you have any hobbies?
I like acro, dance and I do cross country to represent my school and also love to ride my quad bike.
What advice would you give to girls who want to enter the Miss Teen Great Britain competition?
Tell them to enter and tell them it’s an amazing experience and you make lots of new friends. Winning the crown is just a bonus.
