Daisy Whetlor, from Camberley, walked away with the crown in September 2012 making her Miss Teen Great Britain 2012. As well as the crown, she took home some amazing prizes including £1000, £500 to spend at The Dress Studio, a modelling portfolio with FAB Photoshoots, a mini-break with Puma Hotels, personalised crystal shoes & phonecase from The Crystal and Pearl Boutique and much, much more!!
Daisy is a vibrant, chatty girl and loves being in front of the camera whether it is for acting or modelling. She has recently starred in the CBBC drama, ‘Stepping Up’. She absolutely loved her role and would like to pursue a career in acting.
When Daisy was 12 she was diagnosed with arthritis and, as Miss Teen Great Britain, her aim is to raise awareness about the condition and to support Arthritis Research UK. Daisy wants to show that you can still achieve your dreams, despite encountering setbacks like this. Daisy has spoken about when she was diagnosed with the condition and admits that it would have been a lot easier for her if she had someone her age to talk to who also suffered from arthritis.
Daisy certainly has an exciting year ahead of her as Miss Teen Great Britain!
